Nocturne

A deep crimson field holds a soft, horizontal form — like lips, or a doorway into a dream. Nocturne explores intimacy and restraint, desire and silence. The work hovers between suggestion and abstraction, inviting multiple readings.

This piece reflects my fascination with thresholds: between presence and absence, dark and light. Built through layering paint and photography, Nocturne has a tactile yet ethereal quality, like a secret caught in shadow.

It is a meditation on mystery, where darkness feels as alive as light.
